~SHIAO JEENG~ I'm blogging to say..I can finally play a song on guitar!!^_^ Okay,I know it sounds stupid and all but for a first time guitar player,I'm feeling proud of myself alright!So let me bask in my brillianosity(don't ask)..YEAY!Am I good or what?^_^ hahaha..I can actually play the starting of Avril Lavigne's Nobody's Fool too..My brother taught me that a long time ago..Only the starting though..haha..But my strumming for this new song I learnt is still a little off and I have no idea what I'm playing..As in,what chords I'm playing..Thats because my brother didn't bother telling me which chord is what when he taught me how to play that song!Not my fault!Oh,the song I can play is Collide by Howie Day..Not exactly my dream song but its freaking easy..only 4 different chords..I'm trying to get him to teach me 'More than Words' now..I love that song!^_^ And after SPM,Hamster..i mean Jun Han promised to teach me Hisashi's Mermaid solo ^_^!HISASHI!My husband!I'm kidding..hahaha.. LYDIA Okay..I was telling Shiao Jeeng about my 'little' incident with my guitar yesterday and she told me to blog about it here so...here I am telling you something you most probably wouldn't care to know anyway. I was bored yesterday so I took my guitar wanting to practice something with it. The moment I took it out I noticed something was amiss with it. It looked weird and somehow....bouncy. I looked at the guitar..up and down..and noticed there was this HUGE empty space where the third string was supposed to be. Then I saw this weird wirey thing bouncing above the guitar. O_o. My string BROKE! Gosh, I swear I'll never laugh at Shiao Jeeng again! And just as I was going all O_O over the string..my mum came home and she just had to join me in the O_O. My brother was all O_O too. Then he went all...'Oh, that must have been me! I was hitting the strings yesterday'. Who in their freaking right mind HITS the freaking strings?? It doens't make any nice sound. -____-' I think I just about died the moment he said that. X_x. My mum told me she'd bring me to restring it tonight. But I don't think it'll happen. She has to work. So...guitar practicing is on hiatus until the string is fixed. I can still play with the remaining 5 string though. But it sounds..weird. Thursday, August 25, 2005
Lydia I was so tempted to write Mrs. Toshimasa Hara up there but I was guessing that Sj'd do some murdering if she saw it [and probably the others too]. To continue the craposity and weirdosity that you have read in the post below..I'll tell you something that we did today in the library which isn't really as high on the hilariosity and weirdosity level as Sj's string-breaking. Sj and me were at the library today trying to increase our level of wisdomosity [didn't really work for Sj as she ain't got no brains ^_~! just a joke] when we decided to promote our band a little in the library revision books. Good plan isn't it ^_^. Although the library staff would probably go out on a blood hunt when they find out. This is basically what we wrote.. ILITHYIA ROCKS! -sj,lyd,nm,chris- I thought I'd end everything with a bang..although people wouldn't know it was suppose to be me ending things with a bang..but what the hell..^_^..so I wrote this! ILITHYIA ROCKS ALL THE SOCKS IN THIS PLACE! -sj,lyd,nm,chris- -05- And also, not forgetting the fact that Sj did lil arrows pointing at the band name and writing 'famous band!'. Also, for the first promotion-like-thing, Sj actually wrote the word 'bassist' next to chris and added 'don't have' or something like that. Hehe. Another day full of boredomosity. We'll be screwosity if the library staff ever figures out who the hell is Sj, Lyd, Nm and Chris. That's if they even find out about the whole thing. I also don't think socks were rocking very much in the library today. ^_~
~SHIAO JEENG~ The band blog looked abit plain so I thought I'd spice it up with a little bit of my hilariousity,loonyosity and craposity by talking about my most embarrassing moment with my brother's guitar..I wanted to practise my oh-so-wonderful guitar skills with it but it was a little out of tune and my brother was too busy to tune it for me..So I thought,with my geniusosity,I will be able to tune it myself without anyone's help (okay,Guitar Pro is an exception)..But it turns out I was kinda mistaken..okay,I was very mistaken..because when I tried to tune the fourth string,I accidentally turned it anti-clockwise instead of clockwise and ta~da!I broke the string..Wonderful isn't it?My mom,who was watching me do it,had the time of her life laughing like a loony at me..It didn't help that my other brother,who was also in the room,joined her in the loony laughing department..-__-" Okay,I'm done.....I'm away laughing on a fast camel..hahahahaha..Don't mind me..I'm a little high on the crazyosity / bonkerosity / lameosity / weirdosity level..^_^ Monday, August 22, 2005
Lydia I think people who know me well enough will know that I definitely didn't write what I supposedly 'wrote' in the blog below. Sj decided it was funny to blog on my behalf while I was changing. -_-". I couldn't change it cause she already posted it by the time I was done. Gosh. Haha. Then I couldn't delete it either cause we were going out already. -_-"....I'm speechless when it comes to you SJ. Lydia & Shiao Jeeng ~Lydia~ It rocks to have Shiao Jeeng in the band ! LYDIA Okay! I tried to do what I could with the skin. Hm, this skin doesn't work well with me..but I tried! Another thing..guys..when you blog..so that it is easier to find out who blogged and when..write your name on top of the post BOLD[like how I did]!Because there is like 4 of us using this blog, it's bound to get confusing and this is the only way I can think of to not make it so confusing. Any other ideas, please share! Alright, that's about it..now, to continue working on the layout. ^_^.
